I have deleted my Twitter account. At first it was temporary, but now I feel confident it will not be returning. Here’s why:

1. Privacy is everything. I would go as far as to say you cannot be a truly discrete companion and at the same time be on social media, it is an oxymoron.
2. These social media algorithms are rotting our brains. We will become desensitised to everything, including life’s most sensual pleasures. I’ve found myself to be so much happier without it, but also appreciating my experiences more. 
3. Time is better spent living in the real world.
